Our Family: Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Hello friends and family-

Well, first Merry Christmas, second Happy New Year! A little summary of what's been going on.

My works Christmas party was on Fri the 19th at Mt. Vernon. It was really a treat to have our party there. We got to do a candlelight tour of the mansion and saw some rooms that are typically not shown. The dinner was great and it was nice to have a "grown up" night out. We then left on Saturday the 20th and headed to CT for Christmas. We had a nice time visiting with EK's family as well as some old friends who i worked with at OCS. We left CT on Fri the 26th and went to LI. One of my favorite Christmas things to do is go to the candlelight nights at Old Bethpage Village. It was really nice and there is nothing better then hot apple cider and ginger snaps while sitting outside around the bon-fire. We also got to see extended family on my pop's side which was nice. We left LI on Sunday and back to work on Monday.

New Years Eve, we went out with the neighbors to a Japanese Steakhouse for dinner and then to one of their houses for a party. It was the first year that all 4 of us were awake to cheer in a New Year, normally only EK makes it to midnight :) Just kidding, sort of.

Anyhow, that's about it. I have gotten a little hooked on Facebook. I never got on it, but our neighbors swear by it. I got signed up and now have re-connected with A LOT of Academy as well as St. A's classmates. I think it is so cool how you can keep in touch with people so easily. Well, that is about it.
