September Summary

Hello all-

Wanted to get an update out on how things are going. The month of September has been busy with my work schedule/travels. It has worked out pretty well though. We were able to catch the circus when it came to town one evening. The kids enjoyed themselves..they have been to a Ringling bros circus before in an arena, but this was their first "big top" circus.

I also had some travels in NY and Pop came into Manhattan for the MNF Jets game (BOOO...they lost) as well as some sightseeing in downtown. We had a really great time. We did a lot of walking around downtown; visited Ground Zero, walked all over Wall Street/South Street Seaport, went to the Trinity Church (from National Treasure 2) and then walked over the Brooklyn Bridge for some Pizza at Grimaldi's...man is there nothing like a good NY Pizza.

JP came down to visit us as well. He had a wedding at Georgetown, so he stayed with us. I was able to arrange for a West Wing tour. He kept walking around looking for Leo, Josh and CJ. I guess i let him down since they weren't there and he only got to see the oval office, cabinet room, rose garden, press briefing room, etc.

Last note, Collin turned 6 on Sep 23rd. I returned from travel on the 24th, so that is when we celebrated his B-day as a family. His school/neighborhood friends party is the first week of Oct.

Well, that is about it. Love to all and enjoy the pics/videos

Kindergarten

Well Collin started Kindergarten on Tues the 2nd. He was very excited about school as well as riding the bus. As you can see in the videos, no tears for Collin. Mya and mom on the other hand both cried as the bus pulled away.

Anyhow, enjoy!
Waking up all excited
Getting ready for the ladies :) ..after all, he is an Aleksak.
